Project Description

Tanunda Memorial Gardens (Garden of Remembrance) is one of the many beautiful gardens in the Barossa Valley to hold a wedding ceremony. Most of the reception venues will have a dedicated ceremony area, but if you are looking just for a ceremony site only there are many inexpensive options available through the Barossa Council, Tanunda Memorial Gardens is definitely the place you should be. It’s Located in the main street of Tanunda and the gardens are surrounded by beautiful gums and lush green lawn. The large gums are perfect in the summer for cool shade for guests.

Access is from Murray Street through a paved area with lawn and conifers either side forming a natural ‘aisle’ and then onto a small bridge. Because the garden is set back from the main street of Tanunda, the area is still very private.

Because the area is a Memorial Garden and is used to honour our Servicemen, it pays to check in advance with the Barossa Council for available dates.
